Team Liquid. one of tne of the biggest eSports organizations is entering the VALORANT ring with a familiar name to FPS fans.
Liquid, an organization which heads rosters in League of Legends and CS:GO, will field a roster led by former CS:GO professional Adil “ScreaM Benrlitom. He’s joined by Adam “Ec1s” Eccles, Dom “Soulcas” Sulcas, James “Kryptix” Affleck, and Travis “L1nk” Mendoza. Connor “Sliggy” Blomfield will become the teams head coach.
The lineup, formerly under the fish123 banner, has competed together since VALORANT was in the beta stage. ScreaM would stand-in for the roster following the announcement that current G2 Esports player Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks would leave the roster.
Team Liquid normally has their lineups playing in North America, but this one will be different. The Lineup is set to practice in Netherlands at Liquid’s training facility. The facility is not yet open, but will be later this year. The team will compete in the European regional circuit.
This lineup, when under the fish123 banner, performed extremely well in various tournaments. Last month the team placed second at the WePlay! Invitational, losing out to G2.
For most of the roster, this will be the first time in a professional organization. As for ScreaM, the Belgian player is one of the most legendary names in CS:GO. Known as the ‘headshot machine’, ScreaM made his name with deadly one-taps. With the lack of experience from other members, ScreaM will undoubtedly be looked to as a mentor for the younger British players.
