Fans of League of Legends at any level can rejoice this news: The champion who spawned a petition in order to remove her from the game has taken a dive for the worse in the latest patch.

Following nerfs to Yuumi’s E ability, Zoomies, she fell down to a 46% win-rate in the platinum division and above of solo-queue. That’s down from a 50% win-rate as of patch 10.12. The cost of her E has changed from 100/115/130/145/160 mana to 40/45/50/55/60 mana at a base value. The new change also adds a 15% max mana cost on the ability, making Zoomies much less reliable in both the early and late game. For example, Zoomies before the nerf, at level 18, would cost only 160 mana. Now, the ability still at level 18, with no mana items, costs around 235 mana.

Yuumi players already had mana issues, being forced to rely on Presence of Mind and items like Athene’s Unholy Grail, Ardent Censer, and Mejai’s Soulstealer. In any team-fight Yuumi players will now find themselves to be pretty useless after throwing out her ultimate, a few Zoomies, and then soon out mana.

As a result of those nerfs, Yuumi is now the second-worst champion in the support role ahead of only Tahm Kench. Instead, enchanter and caster supports rule the bottom lane, with Sona, Bard, Janna, and Soraka all leading the way in win percentage according to Champion.gg

Yuumi flew into the competitive scene this split of professional play, being picked in 51 matches and banned in 96. The champion held a 45.1% win-rate in those 51 matches of play. These numbers get more expansive the more leagues you look at, with the stats provided only coming from the LCS (America), LEC (Europe), LCK (Korea), and the LPL (China).

It’s yet to be seen if Riot Games has plans to keep Yuumi in this state, or change anything around in the next patch.
